2000% agreed.
They have a long, long, way to go on human faces. Even the best human face animations still look pretty terrible. In some games the environments look amazing and almost photorealistic and then BAM, the game shows a human face and the illusion is gone and you know you are playing a game.

"the most over-hyped game of all time."......WOW, I guess you've never heard of Halo 3. Microsoft was paying the main-stream media, including magazines like Time, to hype Halo 3. You will never hear the main-stream media say a word about MGS4. Unlike Halo 3 however, MGS4 WILL deliver, big time.
Its not better for us hardcore gamers if Microsoft or Sony starts using their money and resources for casual games instead of hardcore games. The more casual games there are, the less hardcore games there will be. Maybe.
I don't think this trailer will show anything. It'll be like the Gears 2 trailer. They won't show any thing real until E3.
Of course the 360 is not dead. Neither the 360 nor the PS3 will "die" this generation, they will both be pretty strong for many years to come, and that is a GOOD thing. I'm glad both consoles will be strong and competitive. That being said, 2008 really looks like a weak year for the 360. I can't believe people are throwing games like Too Human, and Banjo Kazooie out there as must haves.

I'm absolutely stunned that so many people are saying they have never finished a GTA game. Stunned. The GTAs have the best plots, writing, and humor of any games out there. I can't imagine playing a GTA and not finishing the story.

I'm a huge playstation fan, honestly. But at this point what I'm hoping the PS3 will be able to show me in 2008, more than anything else, is good textures. After seeing how bad the textures were in the PS3 version of COD4 I've really started to worry that the PS3 simply can't do textures. Of course, games like Uncharted, Ratchet, Heavenly Sword, etc. look incredible, but they are all third person games, and its hard to look at textures up close in a third person game. Now I'm really confused. There have been a ton of MGS4 videos on gametrailers for months now. Some people seem to be saying that the actual game will look a lot better than those gametrailer videos, and some people are saying that thats not possible, so I don't know what to think. It doesn't really matter, since I'm getting this on day one anyway, but still, what the hell?
